BSNL broadband provide users free hours from 2am-8am for many specific plans

Many of the users do not know to take advantage of these free hours as they think they have to rise up early in the morning for taking advantage of thes free hours.

This is not a SOFTWARE but some files to automate actions like connecting and disconnecting BSNL in Windows 2000/XP/Vista. You can shedule these files with Windows Task Scheduler itself.

For all of them I have uploaded thes files including a readme for easy usage.

"We dont have to work for the computers. Computers will work for us."

The uploaded file bsnl.zip(1.64 KB) contains
  • wake up.bat(6 bytes)
  • connect.bat(31 bytes)
  • disconnect.bat(24 bytes)
  • Read completely before u start.txt(3.07 KB)

Note :
Read the readme file in the zip completely once before starting.
Before Scheduling, check that Task Scheduler is set to start automatically in Services(Type services.msc in Run).
For Scheduling, go to Control Panel > Scheduled Tasks (under Performance and Maintenance if in modern view) > Add Scheduled Task.
While entering Username in Scheduled Tasks, be sure u type it in format :

COMPUTERNAME\Username
Computername fully in Capital letters and Username as it is

If Computername is not known, Right Click on My Computer > Properties > Computer Name > Full computer name shown here is the computername
Password has to be entered twice as it is (it is better to have a password for administrator accounts)

Feel free to comment or mail if u have any further doubts

  6. U can do it
but the problem is that BSNL server time may be different from yours and you could end up having all that data transfer added into ur bill

so i advice you to set time as 2.05am and 7.55am at best

  18. Go to Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections > Network Connections
Change the name of your connection to "BSNL"

Right click on connect, select Edit
Replace < username > and < password > by your BSNL username and password. Do not use <>. If your username is customer and password is 123456789. It should look like this

    rasdial BSNL customer 123456789

Now you will be able to connect using the file. Just schedule as said in the text file attached with it.

Thank you for sharing your problem with all of my readers. Hope you find my other posts useful too. Feel free to comment about anything
