When you connect to a web site from your computer, it sends information that deals with resolving the site name to an IP address known as DNS information and is stored in the space allocated for DNS information known as DNS cache so that you will not need to ask for the site location each and every time you visit the site. So you can increase the overall performance of Internet browsing on Windows XP by increasing the DNS cache size. This does not depend on any Internet browser as such but the OS. To increase the DNS cache in Windows, Download the registry file from the link given below and add this to your registry by double clicking and selecting YES.
