An incredible love story has come out of China recently and managed to touch the world. It is a story of a man and an older woman who ran off to live and love each other in peace for over half a century.

The 70-year-old Chinese man who hand-carved over 6,000 stairs up a mountain for his 80-year-old wife has passed away in the cave which has been the couple’s home for the last 50 years.

Over 50 years ago, Liu Guojiang a 19 year-old boy, fell in love with a 29 year-old widowed mother named Xu Chaoqin.

In a twist worthy of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, friends and relatives criticized the relationship because of the age difference and the fact that Xu already had children.

At that time, it was unacceptable and immoral for a young man to love an older woman. To avoid the market gossip and the scorn of their communities, the couple decided to elope and lived in a cave in Jiangjin County in Southern ChongQing Municipality.

In the beginning, life was harsh, as hey had nothing, no electricity or even food. They had to eat grass and roots they found in the mountain, and Liu made a kerosene lamp that they used to light up their lives.

Xu felt that she had tied Liu down and repeatedly asked him, ‘Are you regretful? Liu always replied, ‘As long as we are industrious, life will improve.’

In the second year of living in the mountain, Liu began and continued for over 50 years, to hand-carve the steps so that his wife could get down the mountain easily.

Half a century later in 2001, a group of adventurers were exploring the forest and were surprised to find the elderly couple and the over 6,000 hand-carved steps. Liu MingSheng, one of their seven children said, ‘My parents loved each other so much, they have lived in seclusion for over 50 years and never been apart a single day. He hand carved more than 6,000 steps over the years for my mother’s convenience, although she doesn’t go down the mountain that much.’

The couple had lived in peace for over 50 years until last week. Liu, now 72 years, returned from his daily farm work and collapsed. Xu sat and prayed with her husband as he passed away in her arms. So in love with Xu, was Liu that no one was able to release the grip he had on his wife’s hand even after he had passed away. ‘You promised me you’ll take care of me, you’ll always be with me until the day I died, now you left before me, how am I going to live without you?’

Xu spent days softly repeating this sentence and touching her husband’s black coffin with tears rolling down her cheeks.

In 2006, their story became one of the top 10 love stories from China, collected by the Chinese Women Weekly. The local government has decided to preserve the love ladder and the place they lived as a museum, so this love story can live forever.

A boy madly in love with a girl, went to her and proposed her.

She rejected.

He didn't look very sad.

His Friend asked him, "Did you actually love her?"

He replied, "She was more to me than I am to me."

His Friend replied, "But you don't look to be feeling so much pain to lose her."

He replied, "I lost someone who never loved me but she lost someone who really loved her even more than anyone else could."

One day Dad was busy polishing his new BMW car. His 4 year child picked up a stone and started scratching on the side of the car. In his anger, dad took the child's hand and hit it many times, not realizing that he was using a wrench. When he realized, he rushed his child to the hospital. At the hospital, his child asked him,"Dad, when will my fingers grow back?" Dad was so hurt. He went back to the car and kicked it  a lot. Once he tired, he sat down by the side of the car. He looked at the scratches, the child had written, "I LOVE U, DAD."

Moral of the story : Love and Anger have no limits. Love never hurts even if uncontrolled, but Anger does.

A Biscuit maker's Love Letter to his girl friend :
"Dear MARIE,
Yesterday was a GOOD DAY. Our meeting was TRULY NICE. But the chance of your father accepting our love is 50-50 since he is like a TIGER.Will you  give your LITTLE HEART to me?"

Girl's reply : "Go away, KRACK JACK"

A boy and girl decided to commit suicide once their love was opposed strongly.....
They climbed up a hill and got ready to jump off the hilltop

Boy jumped first.

Girl closed her eyes and returned back saying : "LOVE IS BLIND"

Boy opened his parachute in air saying : "LOVE NEVER DIES"

A heart melting love story.......

Boy : I cant marry you. My family members refused that....

Girl ; Who are they to stop our love?????

Boy : MY WIFE AND THREE CHILDREN!

He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her. While he was so normal, no body paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to being polite, she promised.

They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt. Uncomfortable, she thought : please let me go home…. Suddenly he asked the waiter: “would you please give me some salt? I’d like to put it in my coffee”. Everybody stared at him so strange! His face turned red, but, still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him this hobby? He replied: “when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea. I liked playing in the sea. I could feel the taste of sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there.” While saying this tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched. That’s his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who love home, cares about home, has responsibility of home…. She also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story.

They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who meets all her demands : he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person but she almost missed him, thanks to his salty coffee.

Then the story was just like every beautiful love story the princess married to his prince, then they were living a happy life… And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in coffee, as she knew that’s the way he liked it.

After 40 years he passed away, left her a letter which said:

My dearest,
Please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you…. The salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated, I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted sugar but I said salt. It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead, I never thought that could be the start of our communication!
I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything… now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I m telling you the truth: I don’t like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste.. but I have had the salty coffee for whole life!
Since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for whole life. If I can live for the second time, still want to know you and have you for my whole life even though I have to drink the salty coffee for whole life again”.

Her tears made the letter totally wet.

Someone asked her: what’s the taste of the salty coffee?
“Its sweet”, she replied
