Here, I am explaining how to create a BSNL broadband connection
1.Take out the main phone line from your telephone and take it near your computer table
2.Connect it to the splitter provided from BSNL
3.From splitter connect the broadband line to your modem/router and the phone line to your phone
4.Now external router connection is set
5.Connect the LAN (RJ45) cable to the modem/router and to LAN Card
6.Connect the power cord and Set it up on plug.
7.Install ur LAN Card Drivers if it is not installed earlier
LAN Setting
Go to Control Panel > Network Connections
Right click on Local Area Connection
Select Properties
Click on Internet Protocol (TCP / IP)
Click on Properties
Click on Use the following IP address
Now change the setting to :
IP address : 192.168.1.2
Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1
Click OK
Creating Network for BSNL Broadband Connecton
Go to Control Panel > Network Connections
Click on "Create a New Connection" on the left side pane
Click "Next"
Select "Connect to the internet" n Click "Next"
Select "Set up my connection manually" n Click "Next"
Select "Connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and password" n Click "Next"
Type ISP Name as BSNL
Type Username as given from BSNL
Type Password n Confirm it by typing it again (Default Password is "password")
Now Click "Next"
Tick Add a shortcut to desktop for easy connection
Click "Finish"
